  1. Why an A-REO™ designation?

    The Accredited REO Agent™ designation was developed to provide an indication to those in the default industry the agent's mastery of the courses and holds the baseline skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the REO business. Ongoing these individuals demonstrate a commitment to education and sharing of best practices within the industry.

  2. How do I receive my A-REO™ designation?

    Once you successfully complete all four courses you will be sent an email with instructions on accessing your certificate and logos.

  3. Do you offer your courses for sale individually or must I purchase all four?

    Yes, you may purchase a course individually for $129 each. The discounted price of $399 is only available when all four courses are purchased together in the same transaction.

  4. How long does it take for each course?

    This will vary by course; we've provided approximate durations in the summaries on the Courses tab. One of the benefits of online courses is that you can move at your own pace. You don't have to complete the course in one sitting. You can exit, come back later and continue. The course will remember where you left off.

  5. How long do I have to complete the course(s)?

    You have as long as you need to complete the course, however you'll need to complete all four in order to receive the Accredited REO Agent™ designation. Once you complete the courses you will continue to have access to tools, instructors, news etc. within the REO Training Solutions community. In the event a client requires its brokers to complete the coursework within a specific timeframe this will be communicated.

  6. Are there tests? What happens if I don't pass?

    There are short lesson quizzes and a final exam for each course. The course requires the student to answer 80% of the quiz correctly before moving on to the next lesson. At the end of each course you will have a final exam. You have two chances to pass the course final. If you do not pass the first final exam with at least 80% correct, a different exam is available.

  7. Are there additional materials?

    Everything you need to complete the courses, including the final exams are on our website. You will be able to print a certificate of completion at the end of each course.

  8. Can I receive state CE credit for the course(s)?

    The courses are not currently approved for continuing education credit.

  9. What methods of payment are accepted?

    REO Training Solutions accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express as payment.

  10. Is your site secure?

    All transactions on our site are safe and secure using the latest security techniquest including 128 bit SSL encryption. REO Training solutions does not store credit card information.

  11. Can I get a refund?

    REO Training Solutions believes strongly in serving our customers. If you are unsatisfied with your experience and would like to cancel your registration for a refund we will gladly provide one under the following conditions:

    • Requests are submitted within 6 calendar days from the date of purchase.
    • Requests are made direct to REO Training Solutions via mail, email, or FAX.
    • The student has not started or completed a course final exam or received a course completion certificate.

    In the event multiple courses were purchased, the cancelation request must be received prior to completion of the first course. If the student received textbooks in addition to the courses, the books must be returned to REO Training Solutions before the request will be processed.

    A cancellation fee equal to 10% of the total purchase amount will be charged to the student to cancel a registration. Refund requests will be issued by the 20th of each month.

  12. How does it work?

    The courses are delivered over the Internet using a web-browser. You have access to them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  13. Can I take the course from different locations or computers?

    Since the course is delivered using a web-browser, you are able to access from any location / computer system that is compatible and has Internet access.

  14. Can I stop and restart the course?

    Yes. The courses are designed to remember where you were in your last session before you logged off. If you start and stop in the midst of a quiz or final exam your answers will not be recorded and you will need to retake it when you resume the course.

  15. Do I need sound/speakers for the course?

    The courses have been designed using mixed media including both audio and video; however, sound is not required since all the information spoken is also displayed within the course player.

  16. Can I turn the sound off?

    If you prefer not to experience the audio, you can adjust the speaker volume on your PC to mute. An arrow will appear when it is time to move to the next slide.

  17. What if I am disconnected from the Internet in the middle of the course?

    Once you regain your Internet connection, simply log in and enter the course. You will be returned to your location from your last session. If you were in the midst of an exercise, quiz or final exam you will be placed on the slide immediately prior.

  18. What are the System Requirements?

    The minimum system requirements for the courses are:
    PC with 450 MHz Intel Pentium II processor (or equivalent) and later
    128 megabytes (MB) of RAM
    Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
    Internet connection (due to audio and video content we highly recommend a high speed connection such as DSL, cable, or T1)
    Printer (for job aids, resource materials and certificates)
    Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 or greater or Mozilla Firefox
    Working Sound Card
    Speakers or Headphones
    Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 or greater
    Flash Player plug-in
    Cookies enabled
    Allow pop-ups

  19. Can I take the courses using a MAC?

    Although some students have successfully completed the courses using the MAC, please note that you will need to use Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 or greater or Mozilla Firefox as well as a Flash Player plug-in. REO Training Solutions technical support team is not able to provide support to MACs at this time.
